During the one day visit to Nellore, YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took strong objection to what he described as ‘dirty politics being indulged in by the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu with the opposition MLAs and leaders’.
Jagan Mohan Reddy said that he never believed in leaders but that his sole dependence would be on the people and the God. In an apparent reference to the party defected MLAs, he said that ‘the people are watching the Telugu Desam Government’s objectionable activities in this respect. They would punish Chandrababu when the time comes. He addressed the party activists’ convention held at Kasturi Devi Gardens located on the Trunk Road when former Congress leader Anam Vijayakumar Reddy joined the YSRCP along with his supporters and people’s representatives. Jagan said the entry of Anam Vijayakumar Reddy into the party would deal a strong blow to those MLAs who had dared to quit their party to align with the ruling TDP.
