The State government has made senior IAS officer Ajeya Kallam as Chief Secretary.
The government has issued orders appointing him as the Chief Secretary on Monday. He will take charge from Satya Prakash Tucker who will retire from the service on attaining the age of superannuation on Tuesday.
Ajeya Kallam, an IAS officer of 1983 batch will retire on March 31, 2017 after attaining the age of superannuation. Surprisingly, the State government has also issued orders naming Dinesh Kumar, who is also of the same batch IAS officer as Chief Secretary from April 1, 2017.
Ajeya Kallam currently working as Special Chief Secretary, Finance and Revenue and is widely respected one. He was made as Special Chief Secretary (Finance and Revenue) in May last year.
