Advocates files complaint against MP Owaisi for his comments on extending legal help to terror suspects

An advocate K.Karuna Sagar today filed a complaint with SR Nagar police against AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi over his statement that he would provide legal help to the terror suspects arrested by the NIA.

The police did not register a case against the MP and are seeking legal opinion on the complaint filed by the practicing advocate. The petitioner in his complaint alleged that the Asaduddin’s remarks is boosting the morale of anti-nationals.

Owaisi on Friday had said his party would provide legal help to the youths arrested by the NIA on charges of involvement in an alleged ISIS terror module, but asserted his party does not support terrorism. Owaisi is directly or indirectly helping the ISIS which had come up with a video in which it threatened to target India and this is betrayal of the country, he said.

It may be recalled that the conspiracy by terrorists has been foiled NIA. The revelations by the arrested suspect terrorists has reportedly targets police stations, religious places, prominent persons from right-wing organizations.

Telangana Advocates JAC files petition in HRC::

Telangana Advocates JAC today filed a petition in Human Rights Commission on the alleged remarks by AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for his remarks of extending legal help to the arrested suspect terrorists. They in their petition said that the comments of the MP appears to be encouraging the terrorists and urged to direct the concerned to take action against him.
