Advocate hacked to death in broad daylight

An advocate Palivela Dattatrreya Ramananda Rayalu (45) was hacked to death in broad daylight in Eluru today.

According to Superintendent of Police Bhaskar Bhushan, the victim was sitting in one of his friend’s shop in I Town police station area when four unidentified persons entered the shop and started having an interaction with the shopkeeper. During this time, one of them pulled a weapon form a bag and hacked the advocate. The other two joined him and stabbed him in the back and were escaped after completion of their job. While escaping one of the miscreants closed shutters of the shop and locked it form outside not realizing that one of his accomplices was inside.

People who gathered there informed the police and when the policed opened the shutters, Rayulu was lying in a pool of blood and one of the accused identified as Ratla Prabhu was caught by the police. The police rushed the victim to the government hospital and based on the information provided by Prabhu, the police nabbed another two accused Pradeep. The other miscreants are at large and the police are on hunt to nab them. It is suspected that the advocate was involved in some civil dispute.
