AP State Cabinet expansion on April 2, 2017 – Nara Lokesh likely to have a berth

The reshuffle of Andhra Pradesh State Cabinet is likely to take place on April 2, 2017 according to reliable sources.

Sources said that Nara Lokesh, National general secretary of TDP who was elected as MLC and sworn in took place on Thursday is likely to be inducted in the State Cabinet. It may be recalled that the induction of Lokesh into the Cabinet is in the air for the last few months and gained momentum ever since he was elected as MLC under MLAs’ quota.

April 6 and 9 are the other muhurtams that are under circulation. Sources close said that at any cost, the Cabinet reshuffle/expansion may take place before April 14.

The aspirants for ministerial berth are Kala Venkata Rao (Srikakulam), Dhlipala Narendra and Yarapatineni Srinivas (Guntur), Magunta Srinivasula Reddy (Prakasam), Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and Beeda Ravindra Yadav (Nellore0 Keshav (Anantapur) are some of the many. YSRCP MLAs who switched their loyalities to TDP are likely to be taken into the State Cabinet which includes Bhuma Akhila Priya and former Minister Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad (Guntur) who got elected to the Council in the MLAs quota is doing rounds.
