AP Cabinet reshuffle – many senior leaders unhappy and submits resignations

Today’s AP State Cabinet Expansion has created tremors in the senior leaders prompting the senior leaders to submit resignations to the posts.

Bojjala Gopalakrishna submits resignation:: TDP senior leader and Minister for Forests Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy who represents Sri Kalahasti Assembly constituency sent out has submitted his resignation to his MLA post in protest. He sent his resignation letter to the Chief Minister as well as the Speaker of Assembly. He met the Chief Minister along with his family and tried to prevent his ousting but could not.

Chennamaneni Prabhakar tenders resignation: Denduluru (West Godavari) MLA Chennamaneni Prabhakar has tendered his resignation for the MLA post following denying a Cabinet Berth. He submitted his resignation to the Assembly Secretary.

Gorantala Butchiah Chowdary resigns for TDP general secretary post:: TDP senior leader from East Godavari district has submitted his resignation to Chandrababu Naidu for the post of party general secretary. He expressed his anguish over not giving a Cabinet berth in the today party reshuffle. He charged that the TDP part has become ‘Ayaram Gayaram’ centre. He charged Chandrababu Naidu that to where he is taking the party. In his letter, he said that the activists and leaders who sacrificed for the party were ignored and questioned the justification in the current Cabinet reshuffle. He questioned him that the founder of the Party NTR who established the party and the purpose was left to air. He said in his letter with deep heart, he is submitting the resignation. Bonda Umamaheswara Rao sensational comments:: Vijayawada Central TDP MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao made sensational comments. After meeting Chandrababu and speaking to media, he said that Kapu community was put to gross injustice and added that this is not the first time. He said that the Chief Minister has not given any assurance but will following his orders. He said that TDP activits from all 13 districts felt very much for not giving a Cabinet berth. For new faces, leaders like himself has to sacrifice, he said.

Kagita Venkata Rao submits resignation:: With the dissatisfaction over denying Cabinet post, Pedana MLA Kagita Venkata Rao submitted resignation for the MLA post. He held discussions with his supporters and activists at his residence in Nageswararaopeta in Ontumilli mandal of Krishna district. He questioned the respect given to BCs and expressed his anguish. He along with MPTCs, ZPTCS, Party mandal presidents and counsellors submitted resignations and called for Pedana bandh on Monday.

Goutu Sivaji express his dissatisfaction:: The six time Palasa MLA Goutu Sivaji expressed his deep dissatisfaction in not giving a ministerial berth. Goutu Sireesha demanded the Chief Minister why her father was denied a ministerial berth.
