APSRTC opens Central Complaint Cell

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Chairman and Managing Director N.Sambasiva Rao on Friday inaugurated a Central Complaint Cell on the Pandit Nehru Bus Station here.

The Cell will work round the clock and the staff will receive complaints through phones from all regions of the State. Passengers can also have information on APSRTC services to neighboring States and the operations of other State services in the State said Sambasiva Rao.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the aim of setting the cell was to bridge the gap between the passengers and the Corporation and provide better services to them. The Central Complaint Cell will deal with 52 types of complaints, enquires and invite suggestions.

Passengers can dial 0866-2570005 and enquire about availability of tickets, serice availability, boarding point, fares, driver phone numbers, service numbers, ticket booking, cancellation, service cancellation and other information. The commuters may call on the CCS and register their complaints, he said.
