APNGOs Association president P.Ashok Babu has said that an action plan will be chalked out at the national executive committee meeting of All India State Employees’ Federation in Punjab on February 18 to launch an agitation across the country against the Contributory Provident Fund (CPS).
Participating in a dharna by the Pension Saadhana Samiti, at the Revenue Divisional Office, Parvathipuram today, he said that the agitation against the CPS would continue till the government scrapped the new CPS. He said that the Central and State governments would feel the heat only when all the unions representing Central and State government employees intensify their protest jointly. He said that the union leaders would explain the problems the employees’ would face on account of the CPS in future.
