APATA seeks flights to Dubai, Bangkok under UDAN scheme

The AP Air Travellers Association has sought more international flights from the city under UDAN scheme.

The APATA has appealed to the State and the Centre to introduce more flights to Dubai, Bangkok and Kathmandu as there was an increase of traffic to these destinations. APATA president K.Kumar Raja, vice presidents O.Naresh Kumar and D.S.Varma have urged the authorities that the Vishakhapatnam should be included in this list.

At present Assam and AP have been identified the routes in the list. Eight routes have been identified of which six are from Guwahati and two from Vijayawada,. Routes from Vijayawada are to connect Singapore and Dubai.
