63rd National Film Awards ceremony - Best Actor Amitabh Bachchan and Best Actress Kangna Ranaut

In the 63rd National Film Awards ceremony on Tuesday at Vigyan Bhavan, President Pranab Mukherjee presented the awards.

The Best Actor award was present to Amitabh Bachchan and Best Actress award to Kangana Ranaut. A total of 21 awards were given by the President in the non-feature Film category while 51 in Feature Film category while three awards were given to Best writing on cinema.

  • Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration: Nanak Shah Fakir

  • Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation: Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal
  • Best Children’s Film: Duronto
  • Best Tamil Film: Visaaranai
