25 educational institutions will come up in capital city

The State Cabinet in its meeting here today has decided to roll out a red carpet welcome for top 25 educational institutions to set up their branches in the Capital city.

The cabinet has decided to allot 150 acres to Indo-UK Health Institute and collect Rs.50 lakh per acre. The government would allot 200 acres to VIT. On Amity and Amrita universities, the decision would be taken at the next meeting. He said that discussions were on with the universities. The government has decided to allot 5 acres to the Central Institute of Tool Design and 25 acres for the AP HRD Institute.

The Cabinet has decided to allot 25 acres of land to TTD to construct a temple. Chandrababu Naidu said that four each agriculture and horticulture colleges, two agri business, one dairy development and two fisheries colleges would be set up.
