Tuesday, September 4, 2018

The Andhra University College of Engineering Principal P.S.Avadhani has placed 13 students of Engineering College for six months on grounds of indiscipline.

Available sources said that the students were suspended on the ground of ragging but the authorities said no incident of ragging took place. However, unconfirmed reports said seniors in the Men’s hostel (Block-I) reported made some juniors to ‘parade half naked’. Though the incident took place last Wednesday and Thursday, the authorities came to know about it on Monday. However, some students claimed that ragging was prevalent in the hostels.

The authorities maintained that the students were suspended for resorting to indiscipline not ragging. Any small altercation would lead to major issues if action is not taken now said AUCE Principal said.
