‘Will work with anyone beyond party lines for Special Category Status’, says YS Jagan

YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given a call to intensity the agitation for achieving Special Category Status and should be an historic one on the day of Republic Day.

He wanted to share hands with any organization beyond party lines for achieving the demand. He said that a candle rally would be organized in all district headquarters on January 26, 2017. He gave a call to the people especially youth to support the cause. He tweeted that the party is ready to support anyone/organization/party that fight for the SCS. He reminded that YSRCP has been fighting for the SCS for the last two and half years restlessly.

Sources said that the party taking a clue from Tamil Nadu people in achieving a bill for Jallikattu within three days especially by involving the youth. On the call given by Jagan, lakhs of youth from the State are preparing themselves for a historic agitation for the cause.

The remarks of the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu questioning the comparison of Jallikattu issue with that of SCS irks the youth. It may be mentioned here that the YSRCP has been fighting for SCS for the last two and half years both inside and outside Parliament. The party has submitted memorandums to th President, Prime Minister and Central Ministers several times and also staged a dharna on August 10, 2015 for getting attraction nationwide. On June 3 and 4, 2015, the party took up Samara Deeksha at Mangalagiri and in October, Jagan took up amara nirahara deeksha at Nallapadu. Jagan participated in Yuva Bheri in all the districts of the State to tap the force of the youth for aching the SCS.
