‘Six lakh laddus kept ready for summer rush’, says TTD EO

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer D.Sambasiva Rao said on Monday that they kept six lakh laddu prasadam ready for the pilgrims in large numbers visiting in the summer.

The Executive Officer said that in view of the rush, VIP break darshan has been cancelled from April 7 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, only protocol with constitutional holding posts persons would be given darshan tickets. On allotment of cottages, only common people would be given top priority. Arrangements are made that every day that nearly 90,000 pilgrims can have darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Four temporary compartments were made for Sarva darshan and for those visiting by trekking the hills.
