Saturday, November 4, 2017

Rajahmundry former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar said that the decision of YSRCP to boycott the Assembly session and take out a padayatra is wrong as it will benefit the ruling party.

Speaking to media here today, he said that the Assembly was the right platform to highlight the wrongdoings of the government and corner it on the issues such as the Polavaram project and depositing of Rs.4,000 crore in the accounts of DWACRA women before the conduct of the Nandyal by election.

Arun Kumar said that people will observe how the ruling and opposition parties behave in the Assembly and how the government is trying to cover-up its misdeeds. If the YSRCP loses this opportunity, it will be advantageous to the ruling party, he said. He further said that it was not correct to compare with former Chief Minister N.T.Rama Rao who boycotted the Assembly while the remaining TDP members participated in the session, he said.

He blamed Chandrababu Naidu and the Central Government for failing to doing anything in the last three years, he said the Centre should take up the responsibility as it was declared as a National Project.
