With the consistent exertion of pressure for Special Category Status right from the beginning has forced the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to pull his Union Ministers from the Union Cabinet, said Nagari MLA R.K.Roja.

Speaking at a press conference, she said that Jagan Reddy pledged all support to efforts to get SCS, and it was the last opportunity for Chandrababu, Modi, Venkaiah Naidu and JSP chief Pawan Kalyan to keep the promise of getting SCS. Following the call given by Jagan Mohan Reddy, all the MPs including Chiranjeevi should quit to exert pressure on the Union Government, she said.

On Budget, she said it was a big let down for women as the Rs.14,200 crore required for DWCRA loan waiver was not given and only Rs.1,700 crore was allocated towards capital infusion for rotation. She alleged that no money was allocated to the schemes meant for girl child and pregnant women. She said that it was the pressure exerted by her and YSRCP leaders in the call money racket and Rishiteswari death case that led to some action.
