‘Chalo Rajadhani’ on March 16

The Left parties have decided to organize ‘Chalo Rajadhani’ on March 16 to demand the government to address issues pertaining to house, house sites and pattas.

CPI(M) State secretary P.Madhu, CPI State Secretary K.Ramakrishna said on Sunday that they have chalked out a series of agitational programmes to mount pressure on the government. The agitation would start with submission of a memorandum on urban issues. Round-table conferences would be organized form February 10 to 14. The padayatras would be organized from February 16 to 20 which will be highlighting the local issues. Dharnas would be staged on February 22, 23 and 24.

They would distribute pamphlets, launch a signature campaign and organize group meetings at various places between March 1 to 10. Cycle rallies would be organized for two days, they said.
