‘CM Connect app’ launched and people can comment on the problems direct

Friday, April 14, 2017

Tech-savvy Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today launched a new mobile app CM Connect that runs on Microsoft’s Kaizala platform at the Interim Secretariat at Velagapudi.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the app will be useful in receiving feedback from the public directly on any given issue. He said that the State Government would be in a position to know the pulse of the people by collecting information and statistics. Unlike the Kaizala app, the identity of the person who submitted the feedback or comment will be kept secret. People can share the confidential information with the Chief Minister directly, he said.

Microsoft Corporation Vice President Rajiv Kumar said that it is first that a head of State is using the app and technology to reach out the people.

Chandrababu Naidu said that 750 seater call centre would be inaugurated at the Secretariat on April 20. The Command and Communication Centre also would be inaugurated in June, he said.
