‘30,000 houses would be constructed on Krishna Riverbed’, says Chief Minister

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the government is thinking of constructing 30,000 houses on the Krishna riverbed to accommodate one lakh people. Speaking at a review meeting on CRDA and State Capital in the Interium Secretariat, he instructed the officials to work out for plans. He asked them to come up with plans to construct bridges for smooth flow of traffic.

Speaking on the occasion, CRDA Commissioner Cherukuri Sridhar said that they have decided to establish ‘Amaravati Gallery’ at Udanda Rayunipalem at a cost of Rs.13.95 crore.

Chief Minister has instructed to installation of 20,000 survivellance cameras and 17 command stations.
