Popular cine actor junior NTR who is campaigning for the success of TDP was temporarily out of action as he sustained injuries in a car accident in the early hours of Friday while on his way back to Hyderabad from Khammam after addressing a public meeting. He was admitted in Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences and the doctors attending on him said that it will take at least weeks to completely recover.

Sources says that he was travelling in a Tata Safari along with his friends and as they reached Mothe near Suryapet in Nalgonda district, the driver swerved to one side to avoid running over a dog at a bend and ended in a roadside ditch causing injuries to him and others. Another film actor, Rajiv Kanakala and others travelling along with him rushed to a hospital at Suryapet and after first aid shifted to KIMS. He sustained bleeding injuries on his forehead, rear side of the head, face and hands besides several bruises. Doctors attending on him said that there was slight bleeding in lungs and hairline fracture of a rib on the right side.

The Managing Director of KIMS, B Bhaksakara Rao said a compression was observed in the D4, D5 and D6 section of vertebra and said the he could wear a tight corset and attend to daily chores if he wished after some days. Depending on the recovery of junior NTR, he may resume the campaign will end on April 21.
