Central audit team begins audit work at Krishna District Medical, Health Department

Office staff believed to have reported on misappropriations

Members of the Central Audit General Committee began audit work at the Medical, Health Department in Krishna district on Tuesday. Sources say the audit team came for auditing upon complaints from the office staff that some funds are misused.

The audit generally takes place in the month of July and August during which the Department staff collects all the receipts of the fund usage in the Department and places them before the audit team in Hyderabad. However with the a leading telugu daily reporting that there are misappropriations happening around, the audit team themselves came to Krishna district and began the audit work.
