27-year-old student graduated from Gandhi Medical College doing MD
Hyderabad, March 3, 2008A Srinivas who was studying MD in internal Medicine at Pennsylvania in the US was reportedly murdered a couple of days ago. According to victim’s father, G Anjaiah, a native of Korutla, Srinivas graduated from the Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad in 1995 and was doing his MD under the Scranton-Temple Residency Programme in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Incidentally, Srinivas’s mother, sister and brother in law are also in the US. They broke the tragic news to the victim’s father today. Anjaiah, who reached Hyderabad today, said that he did not have clear details like when and how his son was killed. He said he was waiting for more information from his wife and daughter in US.
It may be recalled that the latest murder comes a few months after two PhD students from the State were killed in Baton Rouge at the Louisiana State University campus and the case is yet to be solved.
