ACB officials conducted searches at the residence of a Tahsildar

Unearths Rs. 60 lakh worth assets

The Anti Corruption Bureau officials today conducted searches at the residence of A Venkata Reddy, Tahsildar of Damaracherla mandal in Nalgonda district and his relatives and unearthed assets worth over Rs.60 lakhs.

The assets include three plots, agricultural lands of 50 guntas and five shops in Ranga Reddy district, farm harvester worth Rs.10 lakh, car, jeep, motorcycle, Rs.40,000 cash, promissory notes worth Rs.2.5 lakh, bank balance worth Rs.2,43,000 and household articles worth Rs.2 lakhs.

In another case, the ACB officials unearthed assets worth over Rs.44 lakh from the office of L Venkateswarulu, Sub-Registrar of Tanuku in West Godavari and his relatives and friends in West Godavari and Vijayawada.
