Polling held in 202 RTC Depots across the state
Hyderabad, March 27, 2008
In the APSRTC employees recognized union elections, the National Mazdoor Union (NMU) won the elections. Till midnight, according to available information, NMU is leading by 10,000 votes and results will be declared on April 15 after receiving the postal ballots. It may noted that the elections were held on Thursday.
Polling was held in 202 RTC depots. Except minor incidents, the polling went off peacefully. In the last elections the NMU won with a majority of nearly 20,000 votes. Sources says that again history repeats during this elections.
