D Srinivas resigns for his Ministership

Resignation to be accepted only after Assembly sessions

Hyderabad, March 27, 2008

It may be recalled that the minister D Srinivas who took charge as the president of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC). After swearing in ceremony is over, he immediately submitted his resignation for the minister post to the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

According to reliable sources, the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy has decided to accept his resignation only after Assembly sessions as he has to give clarification in the Assembly over some issues relating to Higher Education.
