To inaugurate Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
Hyderabad, March 13, 2008
The prestigious Rajiv Gandhi International Airport built at Shamshabad will be commissioned by the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi at 4.30pm tomorrow.
Ms. Sonia will arrive at Rajahmundry by a special flight would switch on the motors of Thota Venkatachalam Pushkar Lift Irrigation scheme in Purshottapatnam at 11.15 am and later adderess a Kisan rally at Jaggampet at 11.55am. She will leave at 12.55 for Warangal where should would inaugurate the phase I of Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme by unveiling a pylon. She would also go around a photo exhibition being organized there on the occasion. She will leave Warangal at 3.30pm and arrive at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 4.30 pm for inauguration of the airport.
Later, she will leave for Begampet airport at 5.30 and on arrival would leave for Delhi by a special flight immediately. All along her tour of the State, she would be accompanied by the Chief Minister, Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
