Chief Minister says tardiness in Government scheme implementation would not be spared
Says District Collectors will be ranked based on performance
Hyderabad, June 29, 2008
The Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy today said that he would not tolerate slackness in the implementation of governmental schemes. He asked the District Collectors to be all preparedness for the two day District Collectors conference on July 2 and 3.
He said that District Collectors would be ranked on the basis of the progress reports submitted by them and the ranking would be best, average and least performance. The Chief Minister held a video conference with District Collectors and other top officials, he asked them to speak about them about problems, if any in implementing the governmental programmes.
If any of the District Collectors do not wish to disclose them in the meeting, he asked them to tell the same in Meet Your Chief Minister face-to-face programme. He said that the Chief Minister said that he will not interfere in their day to day work. However, he will not tolerate tardiness, he warned them.
