Governor ND Tiwari administers oath
Hyderabad, January 7, 2008Justice Anil Ramesh Dave took charge as Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on the Raj Bhavan laws here on Monday. The Governor ND Tiwari after reading out the warrant of appointment by President of India Pratibha Patil that was issued on December 29, 2007, administrated the oath.
Justice Dave was born on November 19, 1951 completed his B.Com, LLM and A.C.A., and was recipient of national scholarship for LLM Studies. He was enrolled as an advocate in 1976 and he was solicitor to the Government of Gujarat and Additional Government pleader, Gujarat High Court from April 1986 to August 1994. He elevated to the Bench of Gujarat High Court and is due to retire on November 19, 2013.
Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Minister for Law, R Changa Reddy, Finance Minister, K Rosaiah, Minority Welfare Minister, Mohd. Shabbier Ali and number of MLAs and MLCs were present on the occasion.
