Chandrababu Naidu terms it a loss of a good leader for the party

Hyderabad, January 6, 2008

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Senior leader and MLA from Terlam of Vizianagaram District, T Jayaprakash died of heart attack on Sunday evening. He is suffering from kidney trouble for some time. He is believed to have developed cardiac problem all of a sudden and the attending doctors advised him to undergo immediate bypass surgery.

Jayaprakash got discharged himself from the hospital on plea that he will meet the people of his constituency and met TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu on the Sunday evening. He got prepared to go to Vizianagaram district to see his people but unfortunately had developed cardiac problem and died of severe stroke. The family of the MLA are residing in the MLA quarters.

Jayaprakash played a prominent role in the TDP from the beginning of the party. He won five times as MLA on the party ticket. The former chief Minister, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Devender Goud, Kadiyam Srihari, Yanamala Ramakrishna visited and paid homage. Earlier, the Minister Botsa Satyanaryana paid rich tributes to the departed leader. He made arrangements to shift the body to Vizianagaram on Sunday and the body will be made available for the people to pay their tributes on Monday and funeral will take place on Tuesday according to reliable sources.
