Warangal, January 23, 2008

The Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu exhorted the Backward Classes to stand united and revolt against the indifference of the government to secure their due share in all sectors. He assured that the TDP party would stand by them.

Addressing a massive gathering at the TDP’s BC Garjana, in Warangal, Chandrababu Naidu used the platform to launch a scathing attack on the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy and other Congress leaders. He charged them of amassing wealth by resorting to corrupt practices.

Chandrababu claimed that traditional occupations were on the verge of extinction and that people were displaced, he said that the TDP would set right this imbalance. The rural poor are leaving their villages in search of employment and are get confused lot now. He said that the poor remained poor as the government favored only the rich. He listed out the initiatives taken by his party for the BC welfare.
