Hyderabad, January 18, 2008

Addressing a press conference in Medak district party office on Friday, the CPI(M) Floor leader in the Assembly N Narsimhaiah charged the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy responsible for the damage done to Telangana region, particularly in the filed of irrigation projects.

He said that the Congress government had done nothing to alleviate the irrigation problem in Telangan and hence the CPI(M) had every right to oppose Polavaram.
