TRS party to organize public meeting in Karimnagar on February 9
Hyderabad, February 2, 2008The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) will mobilize nearly one lakh people to participate in a mass hunger strike programme on February 7 demanding ruling Congress to reveal its stand on separate Telangana. TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao speaking to media on Saturday said that he along with Telangana ideologue would take part in the hunger strike near Indira Park in the State capital.
He said that the party would also organize a large public meeting in Karimnagar town on February 9 to expose the misdeeds of Congress Government. The TRS president will unveil a statue of Telugu Thalli in Karimnagar town on the occasion.
He demanded the Telangana Congress leaders to resign en masse and reiterated that the TRS elected representatives would resign en masse on March 6 if the Congress party does not disclose its stand.
