Police takes them into custody when they raided two compartments
Hyderabad, February 17, 2008The city police at Secunderabad Railway station took eight suspected Bangladeshi nationals into custody on Sunday. They were traveling by Gorakhpur-Secunderbad Bangalore Express when the police raided two compartments after the train reached Secunderabad railway station.
The police were understood that they were traveling to Bangalore. Following a tip off, the police raided the compartments and took the foreign nationals into custody. The police officials are questioning them.
It is learnt that they entered into the country illegally by crossing the border between West Bengal and Bangladesh.
