Four persons surrenders in film actor Rajasekhar attack case

Seeks Anticipatory Bail from High Court

Hyderabad, February 13, 2008

Four personal who allegedly masterminded the attack on cine actor Rajasekhar at Panjagutta cross roads on January 28, reportedly surrendered before the Panjagutta Police today. The four surrendered persons are P Suri Babu, M Venkateswara Rao, Y Nagesh Babu and B Venugopal Naidu. It may be noted that six others had already surrendered before the police days after the sensational attack on Rajasekhar and his family.

According to police sources, the four moved the AP High Court seeking anticipatory bail but the same was rejected by the court. It is learnt that among the four, Suri Babu was the main accused who allegedly planned the attack. The police had registered a case under section 307 IPC among other sections of law.
