Demands for Narco test on Ibrahimpatnam MPP

The National Women’s Commission, Nirmala Venkatesh today termed the murder of B.Pharmacy student Ayesha murder in a private hospital as a barbaric. She recommended narco analysis tests for hostel warden Padma and her husband I Krishana. The NCW member said that she doubts the character of the warden and directed the Vijayawada city police to send proposals for subjecting the couple to narco tests in Bangalore.
She wanted the Ibrahimpatnam MPP Ch Madhava Rao also to under narco test, after she was told that warden had called him up before reporting the matter to the police. Nirmala Venkatesh said, she would speak to the Director General of Police of Karnataka and would be present when the Durga Women’s Hostel in Ibrahimpatnam.
She also spoke to hostel warden and her husband, students, police and tenants of the house separately. She visited all rooms and checked entry points in the hostel. When the warden claimed innocence, she became furious and reportedly slapped her. She felt that there was no need for a CBI probe.
