In a recent development, S Vijaya Kumar, private secretary of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has repatriated to his parent Information and Public Relations Department and is likely to head the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel.

Vijaya Kumar, a Deputy Director in the Information and Public Relations department held the high profile job on the chief Public Relations Officer to Chandrababu Naidu when he was Chief Minister. A contemporary of Chandrababu Naidu at college, he was involved in boosting the image of Chandrababu Naidu.

According to Telugu Desam Party sources said that the relationship between them soured after the TDP president inducted two media professionals into the wing of the party recently. Over the development, Vijaya Kumar is stated to have met the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy ostensibly to make a request.
