Bangladeshi nationals involvement in Hyderabad twin-bombs getting stronger

Hyderabad, September 9, 2007

The Hyderabad police who are probing the twin blasts are on the look out for three more Bangladeshi nationals believed to be associates of suspected in Lumbini Park bomber Rizwan Ghazi. The police on Sunday released the photographs of three suspects, Ifran Gazi, Masiuddin and Hussain. The three were identified from the photographs seized from the house of Rizwan Ghazi a few days ago.

Sahafia Rasanjani, sister of Rizwan identified the three as his close associates. According to the Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Redanna, Ifran was identified as brother of Rizwan and Masiuddin stayed at a madarsa in Hayathnagar the last two months. The other one, also a Bangladeshi national, is put up at a madarasa in Hayatnar the last couple of months.

The police strongly suspect that all the four Bangla nationals wanted in connection with the August 25 blasts might have fled the city and be taking shelter in some Telangana districts.
