Visitor who took video tape of Lumbini Park submits recording to police

Hyderabad, September 6, 2007

Police made sufficient progress in their investigation in the recent twin-blasts that rocked the State Capital. A visitor to the Lubmini Park on the ill fated evening handed over a video cassette to the police even as unconfirmed reports said Ghazi, suspected to be the bomber who parked it at Lubmini Park was arrested at a town in Karnataka. The police have not reveled the identity of the visitor gave the video footage. The video recording contained the sights at the park just before the laser show began and the scene immediately after the blast.

Police began studying the footage to find the bomber who is believe to be carrying a black bag. The video tape will be a critical evidence to identify the bomber and nail him as the police already have his sketch in hand. City Police Commissioner Balwinder Singh confirmed the receipt of the video cassette but did not elaborate further and also did not confirm the arrest of Ghazi.
