The axe fell on the Principal Secretary, Housing AK Parida who was one among the 21 IAS officers transferred on Tuesday. It is well known fact that the Chief Minister was unhappy over the slow progress of Indiramma Housing programme. The other important decision taken by the government was to appoint a senior IAS Officer in the office of the Chief Commissioner, Land Administration to supervise the implementation of Koneru Ranga Rao Committee recommendations.
Vikas Raj takes over as the new Managing Director of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP). The position is till now held by D Murali Mohan.
