The UAE Government has extended the deadline for the illegal immigrants to leave the country by two months. After constant persuasion by the State Government, the Indian Embassy in the UAE has permitted the delegation to visit the UAE to help the stranded Telugu people there.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Tuesday assured the TRS leaders that steps would be taken to bring the migrants stuck in the UAE back and efforts would be made to provide them jobs under various schemes. A party delegation led by TRS floor leader G Vijayarama Rao met the Chief Minister in this regard and submitted a memorandum.
In another memorandum, the TRS leaders requested the Chief Minister to implement the Presidential Order in the recruitment of 10,000 posts recently announced by the APPSC. They urged him sixty percent local reservation in this recruitment.
