Launches property development initiatives in Real estate
Hyderabad, September 3, 2007
LANCO Infratech Limited (LITL) will focus on developing large infrastructure projects such as power, roads, Ports, Airports, SEZs, Irrigation and Transmission Lines. Addressing at the 14th Annual General Meeting of LITL on Monday, the Chairman L Madhusudana Rao said that the company has also launched property development initiatives which are aimed at establishing the company as a serious player in the real estate segment.
The integrated business model which the company has adopted is based on leveraging its experience in construction and EPC while developing all the infrastructure projects. Listing out some of the highlights of 2006-07, the Chairman said the company achieved a consolidated gross revenue of Rs.16, 473 million as against Rs.1,484 million in the previous year.
