Participants gets wonderful experience during the meet

Hyderabad, September 28, 2007

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chairman G Madhavan Nair said that the five day 58th International Astronautical Congress that concluded on Friday was a wonderful and successful. Interacting with media, he said that all the sessions were very useful and the participants had a wonderful time sharing and exchanging their views on space science with each other.

Madhavan Nair termed the speech by the Former President of India Abdul Kalam as a monumental one. He asserted that many countries have accepted his view. Two major positives are that all countries which participated in the congress agreed to the need for low cost space technology and collaborative missions.

Madhavan Naidu said that ISRO is able to to forge any strategic partnerships. At the personal level, he could personally review and renew many partnerships India had with participating countries on space technology.
