Takes important decision at polit bureau meeting

Hyderabad, September 17, 2007

The polit bureau meeting of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which is presided by the party president N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking to reporters, he said that the TDP demanded a reply from the Chief Minister over the remarks made by the retired Chief Vigilance Officer, RC Samal. Naidu said the Congress instead of looking at finding ways of coming out clean of the charges made by Samal is unnecessarily blaming the TDP for everything.

The meeting also decided to form a technical team to examine the quality of irrigation projects and other developmental activities in the State. Mr. Naidu felt that the entire system had collapsed under the Congress rule due to corruption.
