Sabitha Indra Reddy says Governance following all norms

According to a press release, the State Government would prefer to appeal before the Division Bench of the High Court against the single judge order setting aside granting of mining lease to Obulapuram Mining Company. The release said that the Mines and Geology Minister, Sabitha Indra Reddy on Saturday said that the court order would be studied after the receiving a copy of it and appropriate steps taken to file in the appeal.
Ms. Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the Government would always respect the verdicts of judiciary. She further added that the Government was following all the procedures in the grant of mining and was hopeful of getting a favorable verdict from the Division Bench.
Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the wake of the High Court ruling on grant of lease to the Obulapuram Mining Company and demanded to scrap the GO 152 permitting the company to mine for iron ore in another stretch of land in the same area. Senior TDP leader P Chandrasekhar and MV Mysoora Reddy told a press conference that the Friday's decision of the High Court was yet another slap on the face of the Government.
