Hyderabad, October 9, 2007Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that his Government is going an extra mile by introducing development schemes that was originally not promised in its earlier election manifesto. Doing so, he said that the Government is really committed for the development of the state.
Reacting to the challenge posed by Opposition party leader and the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) N Chandrababu Naidu about the implementation of the Rs. 2 per kg rice scheme immediately, Dr. Reddy said that the Government is in the process of evaluating the implantation of the modalities and that the scheme will be implemented in about 3 to 6 months time.
