Andhra Petro Limited plans expansion with Rs. 320 crores

Enters MoU with Devy Process Technology, London

The Andhra Petro Chemicals Limited plans to expansion from the present 40,000 tonnes to 73,000 tonnes. The Company which is located in Visakhapatnam and the expansion will be completed by the end of 2010 according to company sources. For necessary technological assistance, it entered an MoU with London-based Devy Process with a cost of Rs.320 crores.

Andhra Petro chemicals prepares Axo Alcohol. HPCL Visakha Refinery supplies propiline to Andhra Petro chemicals. In this context, the company expects more demand for Axo Alcohol and the present expansion is expected to deliver good financial prospects in the near future.
