Directs authorities to prepare status report on Indiramma program

Adilabad District Collector Ahmad Nadeem served memos to three Village Secretaries for failure of duty. The three secretaries are entrusted to ensure that clorination is done in borewells and water wells so that seasonal diseases do not spread.

The District Collector conducted a teleconference from his camp office on Monday night. He directed RDOs and Tahasildars to complete the identification of eligible people as a part of the fourth phase of land distribution will be completed by October 20, 2007. He also asked them to submit a report with statistics on house constructions that are not taken up or not completed under the Indiramma scheme. Nadeed said that funds for the purchase of medicines will be released shortly.
