District leaders take part in feast
Ongole - Prakasam, October 7, 2007
The Prakasam District Unit of the Telugu Desam Party has organized an Iftar feast for the muslim community in the district. The feast, organized at the Padmavati Kalyana Mantapam in Ongole is attended by hundreds of muslims in the region. District President Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy participated in the feast and actively spoke with the muslim friends.
Speaking at the feast, Balaramakrishna Murthy said that TDP will extend its help in the construction of a shadikhana and reminded that it is during the TDP tenure that a land of 1 acre was extended for the purpose.
The feast is also attended by Town Party President and Minister Srinivas Rao and others.
