Vundavalli Arun Kumar speaks at Meet the Press program

The Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar participating in a 'Meet the press programme' on Sunday organized by the Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists faulted the officials for failing information under Right to Information Act and asked the machinery to implement the statue in letter and spirit.
Vundavalli asked the Government to instruct the officials to act on the petitions. He said that the act has to be extensively useful provision for the people and media in particular to bring out facts. He said that proper usage of the facts would go a long way in its effective implementation of Government programs and the effective working of the Government machinery. He said that he was not happy with the progress in his struggle against Margadarsi Financiers and its chit fund business as the results were not encouraging.
Vundavalli charged the officials concerned were reluctant to act against Eenadu Group Chairman Ramojirao probably because of the latter's influence. He alleged that promoters of Margadarsi Financiers were yet to to open an escrow account as assured to the Apex Court.
