The Senior IPS Officer, SSP Yadav is appointed as the new Director General of Police (DGP) by the State Government. Yadav will take charge on Wednesday from MA Basith. Yadav hails from Bihar, and is belongs to the 1972 batch of IPS officers. He will retire in 2010.
Yadav is currently heading the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) operations. He worked earlier as the DIG of Anathapur and Guntur ranges and as IGP of the Crime Investigation Department and State Crime Records Bureau and Recruitment.
